Rooted in the traditions of vital herbalism, alchemical philosophy, and inspired by archetypal psychology, my work honors the truth that healing is not something given — but something remembered. I offer tools, teachings, and plant allies that support your body’s innate intelligence and your soul’s natural capacity to heal.
I’m Sophia Sajedi, founder of Asclepius’ Allies — a space dedicated to exploring the sacred marriage of anima and animus through herbalism, alchemy, and ritual praxis. This work lives at the intersection of science and spirit, where the wisdom of the body, the psyche, and the plant world are honored as equal participants in the healing process.
Over the years, I have immersed myself in the language of flowers and the living intelligence of nature, guided by teachers such as Sajah Popham, Matthew Wood, Pam Montgomery, and Robert Bartlett. My practice draws from biological and medical sciences, alchemical tradition, and the timeless teachings encoded in nature herself.
I am currently pursuing a degree in Herbal Sciences at Bastyr University, with plans to continue toward a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Still, it is the plants who remain my greatest teachers and the true keepers of my heart. Their subtle intelligence continually calls me back to wholeness — and to the art of listening.
The name Asclepius’ Allies is drawn from the ancient lineage of Asclepius — a mortal healer, son of Apollo, and student of Chiron, the archetypal wounded healer. Though born of this world, Asclepius was initiated into the mysteries of healing through divine revelation. It is said he received guidance from the gods themselves — dreams, omens, and visions that illuminated his understanding of medicine, regeneration, and the delicate balance between life and death.
The Rod of Asclepius — a staff entwined by a single serpent — remains a living symbol of the healing arts. The staff represents the grounded, earthly path of the practitioner; the serpent, a sacred emblem of transformation, wisdom, and renewal. Together, they speak to the healer’s role as both witness and channel: one who walks between worlds and facilitates the return to harmony.
To align with this lineage is to remember that healing is not a force we wield, but a current we serve. The healer does not impose change — they create the conditions in which the body and spirit can do what they are designed to do: restore, reconcile, and reawaken.
Through one-on-one mentorship, handcrafted remedies, and immersive education, I seek to harmonize mind, body, and spirit.
My work integrates Jungian depth psychology, vitalist herbalism, and esoteric traditions to support the unfolding of inner transformation. I view healing as a collaborative process — not a matter of fixing, but of remembering what was never truly lost.
This sanctuary is for those called to that path — those with the courage to descend, reweave, and rise. Those willing to meet the mythic within themselves. Those who know that true healing is sacred, embodied, and wholly their own.
